Kat was born at Freedom Fields Hospital in Plymouth and has lived in the surrounding area all her life.

Kat has 13 years of HR experience in Generalist HR, which she has gained in various roles within the HR departments of large organisations in the education and engineering sectors. Kat has extensive experience in operational HR; she is known for her ability to carry out robust and effective investigations to support business processes.

 Kat has qualifications in Human Resource Practice and Human Resource Management, both of which are accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (Level 3 and 5 CIPD).
