Description
The purpose of this policy is to:
• Promote a safe, healthy, and productive working environment
• Prevent accidents and performance issues related to drug and alcohol misuse
• Provide support for individuals experiencing substance misuse issues
• Meet legal responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971
This policy applies to all staff during working hours, while on company premises, at off-site events, or representing the organisation in any capacity.
