In line with the ACAS code of practice there is a requirement t invite an employee to a disciplinary hearing formally including specific information. This letter will help ensure that you are compliant with the code of practice by including the following:
• Date
• Time
• Location
• Chairperson and who else will be present
• Details of the allegation
• Giving the right to be accompanied
• Guidance on the possible level of sanction
